Headin Out!

Well I am off for another weekend of Vacation. heading out to see the in-laws and the rest of the family! It is a much needed break and I love going up there. My FIL is a wonderful chef. Well he'snot really a chef but he can cook like one! My MIL is a wonderful person as well but is having a hard time lately with her health so I have been trying to go up as much as possible. The kids don't mind the drive anymore. They just play thier DS's and watch dvds. I get to fight Chicago traffic and all those crazy drivers! Gotta go pack! :O)

Happy Valentine's Day to all my friends and Family who read my blog. (and tot hose that don't) LOL!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day! As soon as my battery gets done charging I will be posting my beautiful Valentine's day gift. :)

The girls had thier school party and loaded up on sugar. (OF COURSE!)

So I have to go pry them from the ceiling and try to fight them into bed...

Grand Central Station

This is a pretty neat prank they pulled at GCS.
I wish I had been there. This is possibly one of the most astounding (visually at least) stunts ever pulled. No exaggeration--just watch the video.

Over 200 New Yorkers recently walked into one of the busiest train stations in the world, New York's Grand Central Station, and at exactly 2:30 pm, all froze in place. There's one guy in the video who froze just as he was stooping down to pick up some scattered papers. Talk about commitment.

Wanna know what I did today?

...............Absolutly Nothing! I accompolished nothing! I did a hundred things but didn't seem to get anything done! I wanted to have the closets cleaned out by the time the electricians arrived because I figured they would start upstairs. But they didn't make it that far anyway (whew). I took the kids to school, came home and did "S"s hair then took her to school. Headed to the Y for my daily Jog and the school calls. "S" needed spair clothes. So I ran home then to the school and dropped them off and headed back to the Y. The daycare lady who works out there was running late so I thought.... I'll just wash the van while I wait. So we went thru the automatic car wash thing. Yep-it was frozen. Ran the whole cycle with no water. You would think if it wasn't working they would put up signs. It was 33 outside and I had seen the one downtown going so I didn't figure the lines would be froze. There went $9 down the drain! ( Hey-That's a Starbucks! :( WEnt back to the Y and all the machines were busy so I waited... and waited... one's free!!! So I had 10 minutes before I had to leave to get "S" from school so my workout was cut short which also ment no shower before I went to pick her up!! The electricians had the stove and microwave unplugged so lunch was difficult. Went to upload Sundays session and the internet was down.

I am going to get in a nice hot tub with a nice bubbly drink and relax. Then I am going to bed early!

Brrrrr! Time for Starbucks!

Today is really cold! I mean Really cold!! 2 Yep 2 degrees outside. The wind chill makes it something like -17 outside. I hate winter! The only good thing about winder is Cuddling with the kids onthe couch watching a movie with hot cocoa and sledding (snowmobiling). We have taken the girls quite a few times already this year! They love it. I think "A' Loves it more then Anyone but it is still fun. I will always remember "A" going down the hill with her Grandpa "J" that was the cutest thing ever! Just keep thinking that next winter I want to be at Disney! AAAhhhhh can't wait!
The girls have girl scouts tonight (well after school) so I think I will scoot on down and get myself a Starbucks! They are pretty good. I can't go there without spending at least $15 so I limit myself to 3 times a week! LOL! My MIL got me hooked on Pumpkin spice whent hey were down last week and I really like it! My In Laws are so unheathly for me! :) You should see the way they cook... Who needs a 5 star resteraunt! I just go to thier house and I get a meal fit for a queen! can't come home without Pitsburg beef and twice baked potatoes. Yep I gain 5 lbs every other weekend! LOL! Ok enough about food as I am getting hungry just thinking about it!

Locked out!

I seem to have been locked out of this blog lately. No matter what password I tried it wouldn't let me in. Weird. Anyway after hours trying to figure it out I got in! YEAH!!!!!
Finishe up some loose ends tonight. Touched up with paint and nailed the last pcs of trim down for the new entry way. Well I didn't but DH did! :)
The girls have friends over today and I am soo ready for some peace and QUIET! They always have friends over. There are days I just want to say "Can't you go to their house for once??" But I don't! I love my kids and all thier friends! The more kids the better!

(No-I haven't been drinking either! )
